RT60 EXTENDED plays « t(R)ans(E.)»

the materialization of our performance consists of a projection of pulsations in a diffusion space. these pulsations are both rhythmic and spectral, harmonic and formal. this way of merging time and space is similar to the techniques of cubist painters, layering, stretching and distorting perspectives from a specific sound object. this purely musical abstraction is anchored to an indefinite paradoxical reality, from which emerges abruptly and suddenly a new transformed structure, consisting of an accumulation of semantic counterpoints.

within this sound labyrinth the listener confronts the limits of his or her perception, the immersive context acting as an instrument articulating and clarifying the musical material, sometimes filigree, sometimes explosive, always organic. the volume of the concert space is segmented into reactive zones, both acoustic and performative, each of them generating sonic interweavings controlled in part by the performers of the ensemble and by a system of sensors reacting to the movements of the public, which is free to move around the space as it pleases and to position itself around and between the performers.

the result of the stratification of these areas, attributed to sound categories, brings out in key areas a new sound color, a concatenative synthesis of hybrid styles, questioning the problem of the clash of styles, their recomposition and the aesthetic positioning of the actresses and actors of the whole.
