the movements of tectonic plates — the rising and sinking of immense masses, their erosion and eventual destruction by the very same physical forces that created them — form an endless cycle of transformation. the sheer accumulation of materials, the destructive whims of climate change, and the complex interweaving of geological, biological, and human processes together compose a refined dance in which time itself stretches and bends across infinitely layered scales. in this uncanny ballet, sensuality meets brutality, life meets death; it evokes an intrinsic abstraction of natural phenomena — a distorted, overarching perspective that we both orchestrate and inhabit. we imagine a large scale, concertante installation: immersive, interactive, subjective yet grounded in physical reality. built upon wave field synthesis, it explores the polyrhythmic and polytemporal evolution of the alpine region — its shifting identity, its layered geological memory, and its resonance within our collective psyche.
